What a cardiovascular artery disease is would be a problem in the system that connects the heart to various organs. The majority of organs in the human body need nutrients and they also need to eliminate waste. This is where blood comes in because it does both of these things, which is why it’s so important. For example say blood doesn’t reach an organ like the brain than some problems can happen. This could lead to some parts of the brain actually dying and this is called a stroke. The blood also is responsible for carrying white blood cells which are a part of the immune system to where they are needed.
The heart itself is part of this process and it has the important job of being the energy source that delivers all these nutrients to these organs. One of the main culprits of a cardiovascular artery disease is something called plaque. This plaque can be formed from something called LDL cholesterol.
It can stick to the walls and restrict blood flow. If blood blow gets restricted it could lead to various organs not getting the oxygen they need as well as it can make the hearts job harder. If this plaque gets big enough it could stop blood flow completely and lead to a heart attack or even a stroke. Heart disease itself is the top reason for death in the U.S.
It’s also important to know that not all cholesterol is unhealthy. There is a type of cholesterol which is called HDL and it can actually help remove plaque from someone’s system. So knowing someone’s cholesterol levels is not enough. One of the ways someone can reduce cholesterol is by eating a healthy diet.
To give you an idea on what a healthy diet could be would not include sugar foods. The reason sugar is bad is because when sugar enters someone’s system it first goes to cells, which is why there is a sugar rush. Then the rest gets stored as fat and can get turned into something called triglycerides. These triglycerides can leave behind material that can contribute to clogged arteries as they travel through the blood stream.
Another food source that is not good for the heart could be processed foods, Trans fats and saturated fats. A major way that someone can decrease their chance of cardiovascular problems is by consuming fish oil. The reason for this is because fish oil can thin someone’s blood. When someone has thin blood it is harder for it to be blocked by cholesterol or triglycerides. For instance if a river had more molecules floating around there would be more of a chance of it getting clogged up than if it was crystal clear. This thinning of blood also helps reduce the chance of heart failure and high blood pressure.
There are millions of different fish oil brands on the market and if you do a Google search you will have more options that you know what to do with. Figuring out which brand to go with is another story. Wouldn’t it be great if there was some type of guide when it came to supplements? This guide could point out some of the best things to look for and also some things that could spell disaster? Well since there really is not any guide in existence I created one. Now we both know that I could easily sale this guide for a lot of money, but I decided to make it free. So what is your excuse for not taking a look? Check it out by clicking on “How to Choose a Good Supplement.”
