Red Clover is an alternative medicine that can improve skin care along with doing some other cool things. Sure we can all agree that being healthy is important but with many health problems other people don’t know you have them. When it comes to problems with the skin they are usually more difficult to hide.

What is worse is that they can not only be embarrassing, not attractive but can negatively impact many areas of someone. Take for instance pimples and zits. When I was in High School there were some times when pimples made me very self-conscious and lowered my self-esteem.

How about varicose veins or what are commonly called spider veins which are ugly. Besides the cosmetic affect with the skin it’s the first line of defense when protecting the human body from nasty invaders.

So what are some things someone can do to improve skincare to not only improve someone’s appearance but their overall wellness? Can you guess a few of the top choices?

One good idea is to stay out of the sun or put sun block on. UV radiation destroys skin tissue like acid. How about getting good sleep? Believe it or not many people just don’t get the rest they need and skin care suffers.

Drinking enough water and eating healthy food that have antioxidants will also assist with the goal of improving skin care. The next big thing would be not to get stressed out. Stress damages the skin because it suppresses the immune system and makes it harder for someone to get good rest.

Lastly there are herbs someone can take. The herb I would like to discuss is red clover and is somewhat known for being a woman’s herb. Why is it a woman’s herb? I’m glad you asked, it’s a woman’s herb because studies show that it can help with hot flashes and menopause symptoms. It is also known for improving bone strength and many women have problems with this condition.

Oh, and yes it can support the skin remain not only firm but look young as well. One way it can be of help to the skin is because it reduces inflammation. In a nutshell inflammation is when the human body attacks itself. It’s the main cause of redness with acne and the pain with arthritis. Reducing inflammation not only prevents redness but prevents damage as well.

Another way that red clover is good for skin care is by detoxing the body. Now you might be wondering well isn’t that what the liver is supposed to do? Yes you’re correct but red clover helps as well. Let’s face it a lot of people eat bad diets and we are exposed to lots of toxins.

These toxins do all kinds of harm to the body and age the skin. So anything that helps remove or reduce them is for sure a good thing.
I really just touched on a few of the benefits with red clover and it can do a lot of great things like improving the heart and the immune system.

I would argue that the simplest way for someone to consume red clover is with a herbal supplement. Sounds easy right? The truth is that finding a supplement with red clover is not as easy as some may think.

How do you know what to look for? What brand is good and how do you avoid a crappy supplement? How about dosage amounts for the supplement?

Like I mentioned it’s not easy and the truth is that supplements can be dangerous and deadly. It’s for this reason that I have written a guide that can explain to someone what they really should be looking for in a dietary supplement and answer the tough questions.

Now I could easily charge for this guide and sure I would get sales but I decided to make it free. So take advantage of this offer and click on free guide on buying supplements.

Knowing about healthy food for the brain is good because it can not only make someone smart but it can prevent all sorts of mental problems. Believe it or not there are thousands of cells in the human brain. These cells also last a very long time. So they are not used to being replaced like say skin cells for example.

Skin cells get replaced every few weeks so it doesn’t matter if someone gets a cut or a small burn. New skin cells grow right back. The brain is a little different and it’s probably wise to protect these cells because it’s probably much harder for them to grow back.

One way to protect the brain is to stay away from unhealthy food. The brain itself needs a lot of energy to operate and do you know where this energy comes from? Most of it comes from the heart pumping blood to the brain. So any food that stops this process is unhealthy.

The biggest culprits are things such as refined sugars and heavily processed breads. The reason for this is because these foods create a lot of triglycerides. These triglycerides leave residue behind as they travel through the blood ways and restrict blood. Tran’s fats are bad as well because they raise bad cholesterol which is called LDL which can clog up arteries. They also have been known to reduce HDL cholesterol and this is the helpful kind.

Foods that are good for the brain increase blood to this wonderful organ. The number one food on the list is salmon. However there is a condition to salmon and it is the number 1 food for the brain as long as it doesn’t have mercury. Mercury is a metal and actually has been linked to brain damage.

Salmon itself is super healthy for the brain because it has omega 3 good fatty acids. Omega 3 is a substance that humans can’t manufacture in the body so we need to get it from food sources. This fatty acid is used in brain cell membranes. The membrane of a cell is important because it regulates what comes in it and what goes out.

Say someone was deficient in omega 3 and their cell membranes where weak. What could happen is that bad things like bacteria or free radicals could penetrate this cell and cause it harm and maybe even death. Like I mentioned earlier we want to keep our brain cells because they are not designed to grow back easily like other cells.

Scientist do believe we can grow a small percentage of them back but they might be different and it’s not easy. So the more we can protect them the better off we will be. Other foods that are good for the brain include chocolate, coffee, apples and nuts.

One of the best options for someone improving their brain health is by taking omega 3 fish oil. This is because it’s easy, less risky than eating fish as well as being more cost effective. Fish oil is a supplement and this means that a company can actually legally sale a product without testing to see if it’s safe.

This is sort of scary isn’t it? One of the ways that you can protect yourself is by getting educated about what to look for in a brand. To do this I actually wrote a guide on the industry because finding good info on Google was a frustrating process. To view this free guide click on supplement guide.

Fats are not always so bad and sometimes there are some good ones that can actually improve fat. What is so interesting is the history of fats. For instance years ago prestigious organizations started telling people that fats where bad and if more people went on the low fat diet they would lose weight. What happened is that more people started to gain weight and had more health problems. Then some guy called Dr. Adkins came along and told everyone that fats can be good and the carbs are the real energy. People started to lose weight and improve their health.

Now of course there are some things in the Mr. Adkins diet that are debatable and it comes squarely down to saturated fats. There are a lot of health experts who think that this type of fat can increase someone’s bad cholesterol levels and increase cardiovascular problems. However the clear conclusive facts about saturated fats are still grey and not clear. So there is a chance that saturated fats cannot be harmful for people. The one fat that is clearly bad is Trans fats. The reason for this is because it’s a manmade fat and that is clear evidence as it is. Trans fats can increase bad cholesterol contributing to less blood flow. It can also weaken cells protection and integrity because it gets used in their membranes, which can be bad. Weakened cells can lead to them dying early and being altered which can cause all kinds of issues like even cancer.

This brings me to the topic on how fats can be helpful. The healthy ones are called unsaturated fats and there are two of them. They are monounsaturated fats and also polyunsaturated fats. They are both are liquid at room temperature. You will now very quickly if a fat is saturated because it will start to become solid such as the runoff when cooking a peace of beef or bacon. These unsaturated fats are in things like olive oil, nuts and canola oil. These fats have been linked to decreasing LDL cholesterol which is the bad stuff and increasing the good cholesterol called HDL. The reason HDL wears the white hat and is considered healthy is due to the fact it can sweep away clutter in someone’s blood vessels.

These healthy fats can also be used to help with nerve and neuron protection. Neurons are part of the brain and they are responsible for sending messages back and forth. This is a big reason that eating fish can prevent Alzheimer’s and memory problems. Nerves are also responsible for sending messages to the brain. To give you an idea if you didn’t have nerves on your fingers you could be touching a fire not know about it if you were distracted and burn your fingers away. There are also many others reasons that fats are helpful like with keeping the skin looking good as well as assisting with hormones.

One way someone can get these good fats is by taking fish oil. Fish oil can be good because it gives someone all these benefits without any side effects of eating fish. These side effects could include contaminations and toxins. It sounds easy to just get some fish oil but it can actually be a challenging task with all the choices and options. I endorse getting educated about the supplement industry because it makes shopping easier and more enjoyable. One of the places to get educated is by reading a free guide that I made and you can view it by clicking on “How to Choose a Good supplement.”

Inflammation has been linked to a lot of bad things so knowing what causes it can be of some help. If you’re not sure exactly what is inflammation than in a nutshell it is when the body tries to heal an injury. Of course things are much more complicated than that. The body itself is a fascinating thing and is a survival machine. Say you are walking through the woods and step on a strange rock that sprains your ankle.

What then happens is that the ankle will probably get red, maybe even hot and then expands. This is an example of inflammation. The human body senses this injury and sends in the police, fireman, paramedics, shrinks, superman and also president Obama.

The point is that this swelling is extra blood and this carries a lot of various minerals and nutrients to heal the injury. However the immune system, which is mostly white blood cells gets to act like a jealous boyfriend or girlfriend and starts to attack a whole bunch of stuff even if there is no enemy around.

As you can probably guess this leads to a lot of innocent bystanders that get hurt and this is a big reason that inflammation can be unhealthy. Have you ever wondered why someone should ice an injury to prevent swelling, well this is one reason to do this. Heat increases blood to an area and this can be beneficial in some situations as well.

What causes inflammation is anything than can cause an injury and this includes food as well. The major food culprits are as follows

1) Processed foods- Yep hot dogs are on this list as well as potato chips and

2) Sugars- I’m not talking about the sugar in in apple but the kind that everyone likes such as donuts, and cupcakes

3) Trans fats – the guys are not really fats but are fake wannabes. Instead of good fats being used in cells these guys get in there and then it’s too late. Think of it like you are about to get surgery done and then find out at the last moment that your surgeon was really just an artificial doctor and a high school freshman.

4) Refined grams – Stuff like white breads, white rice and foods that are stripped of nutritional value.

So now that we now some of the main reasons that cause inflammation how can we stop it? The easiest answer would not to get injured and to avoid foods that cause this process. Another way that could surprise you would be to consume omega 3 like in fish oil.

Fish oil is good because it doesn’t have contaminations like a lot of fish and tuna have. To fully understand how omega 3 fish oil can help it’s good to know omega 3’s close brother which is called omega 6. They are both fatty acids and both use enzymes that help control the inflammation response. When we have more omega 6’s in our diet than omega 3 we promote inflammation.

Omega 6 is extremely common in many people’s diets and is found in breads, meats, cereal and grains. Also eating omega 6 can deplete someone’s omega 3’s in their system. Getting omega 3 is the challenging part. This is because it’s found in fish and nuts which are two things that

a lot people don’t eat. Plus nuts can increase the chance of obesity. If you don’t believe me about the obesity part I’ll give you a can of nuts while you’re watching some TV and I’ll bet you that can will be empty in a short amount of time.

I recommend taking a fish oil supplement because it’s an easy way someone can get omega 3 and reduce inflammation. There are a lot of products that someone can use and to help choose a good one I endorse viewing a free guide about how someone can choose a good supplement. To view this guide click on free guide on supplements.
