In this article I hope to share with you some crucial green tea information that you might not be aware of. Living in the modern age we enjoy a ton of benefits that people in the past never got to experience. Such as flying, computers, telephones, electricity to name a few but there are some things that are not good that do come with living in the modern age.
For instance a whole lot more toxins in the air, pollution, contamination in our food and daily stresses including less sleep.
All of these facts add up and contribute to the aging process which means the deterioration of our body. When our cells get into contact with pollution and toxins they create something called a free radical. Now these free radicals are not a good thing, the reason is because they do not have an even number of electrons.
What happens is they go searching for an electron they can steal so they can become stable, sort of like a drug addict looking for a fix. Not so bad you’re thinking right?
Well, that cell that just got an electron stolen from it, guess what it has now turned into a free radical. This process continues unless it gets stopped.
Now you may be wondering, ok what is so bad about free radicals? Well, the main thing is that they change cells. Remember the building blocks of life our cells and our entire body is made out of them. Say some cells get changed on your facial skin do you think it’ going to change how you look? Yes, it will make someone look older.
Did you know that cancer and diabetes all have to do with damaged cells? How about if a cell gets damaged in your heart or lungs? Basically damaged cells are part of the reason for all negative health conditions and free radicals are major contributor to this.
A cup of green tea contains antioxidants. The reason antioxidants are good is because they stop free radicals in their tracks which stops this negative destructive process.
This is why the health benefits of green tea are extremely numerous because it can affect so much. Green tea is not the only place to get antioxidants. Someone can get them from fruit and vegetables as well.
It is just that green tea has something called EGCG which is a powerful antioxidant. In fact I don’t know anywhere else EGCG is found. Just to give you an idea on what makes this particular antioxidant special is that in a study in Kansas during the late 1990’s determined that this antioxidant is twice as powerful as resveratrol.
Now, this may not be true but it could be and to me it does make some sense.
I do drink green tea regularly however sometimes it’s not always easy to consume this beverage for instance when someone is driving in traffic. It’s not fun to be stuck on a freeway in traffic needing to find a restroom.
This is why it might be a good idea to take a supplement to get these benefits. The bad news is that it’s easy for supplement companies to make a product that has crappy quality and may even be harmful.
Have you ever noticed those prescription drug commercial that list a whole bunch of side effects? Do you ever why herbal supplements don’t have negative side effects listed?
It’s because by law they don’t have to list negative side effects and even check if it’s not harmful. Scary stuff isn’t it? To better protect yourself I have created a FREE guide that can help someone in choosing a good safe supplement. You can view this guide by clicking on FREE Guide.
