Red Clover and Skin Care
Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012Red Clover is an alternative medicine that can improve skin care along with doing some other cool things. Sure we can all agree that being healthy is important but with many health problems other people don’t know you have them. When it comes to problems with the skin they are usually more difficult to hide.
What is worse is that they can not only be embarrassing, not attractive but can negatively impact many areas of someone. Take for instance pimples and zits. When I was in High School there were some times when pimples made me very self-conscious and lowered my self-esteem.
How about varicose veins or what are commonly called spider veins which are ugly. Besides the cosmetic affect with the skin it’s the first line of defense when protecting the human body from nasty invaders.
So what are some things someone can do to improve skincare to not only improve someone’s appearance but their overall wellness? Can you guess a few of the top choices?
One good idea is to stay out of the sun or put sun block on. UV radiation destroys skin tissue like acid. How about getting good sleep? Believe it or not many people just don’t get the rest they need and skin care suffers.
Drinking enough water and eating healthy food that have antioxidants will also assist with the goal of improving skin care. The next big thing would be not to get stressed out. Stress damages the skin because it suppresses the immune system and makes it harder for someone to get good rest.
Lastly there are herbs someone can take. The herb I would like to discuss is red clover and is somewhat known for being a woman’s herb. Why is it a woman’s herb? I’m glad you asked, it’s a woman’s herb because studies show that it can help with hot flashes and menopause symptoms. It is also known for improving bone strength and many women have problems with this condition.
Oh, and yes it can support the skin remain not only firm but look young as well. One way it can be of help to the skin is because it reduces inflammation. In a nutshell inflammation is when the human body attacks itself. It’s the main cause of redness with acne and the pain with arthritis. Reducing inflammation not only prevents redness but prevents damage as well.
Another way that red clover is good for skin care is by detoxing the body. Now you might be wondering well isn’t that what the liver is supposed to do? Yes you’re correct but red clover helps as well. Let’s face it a lot of people eat bad diets and we are exposed to lots of toxins.
These toxins do all kinds of harm to the body and age the skin. So anything that helps remove or reduce them is for sure a good thing.
I really just touched on a few of the benefits with red clover and it can do a lot of great things like improving the heart and the immune system.
I would argue that the simplest way for someone to consume red clover is with a herbal supplement. Sounds easy right? The truth is that finding a supplement with red clover is not as easy as some may think.
How do you know what to look for? What brand is good and how do you avoid a crappy supplement? How about dosage amounts for the supplement?
Like I mentioned it’s not easy and the truth is that supplements can be dangerous and deadly. It’s for this reason that I have written a guide that can explain to someone what they really should be looking for in a dietary supplement and answer the tough questions.
Now I could easily charge for this guide and sure I would get sales but I decided to make it free. So take advantage of this offer and click on free guide on buying supplements.
