Yes, L-carnosine can help with autism. Autism is a disease that children and can damage a person’s ability to communicate and behavior. For example when someone smiles many people can recognize that as a happy person however if someone has autism they may not know this.
Also someone with this disease may ask a question over and over again even though it has been answered before. This problem can not only affect social behavior but it can hinder someone’s ability to earn money and negatively affect family relations as well.
Health scientists have not found exactly why autism occurs, however there are two main theories and these are genetics and environmental factors. Environmental factors could be toxins, free radicals and deadly pathogens in the air.
Genetics is when someone in the family has the same disease then other people in the same gene pool might have a higher chance of getting the same ailment.
L-carnisine is a substance that is made from two crucial amino acids that is manufactured mostly in muscles. The amino acids are beta-alanine and L-histidine. The problem with this substance is that the older someone gets the less their body manufactures it. It’s unsure exactly why this happens however theories predict that it has to do with the aging process and the deterioration of our body.
This nutrient can assist with autism by a number of ways.
For instance it’s known that this substance is a very powerful antioxidant and neurotransmitter. Antioxidants have the ability to prevent free radical damage to various cells, tissues and organs. Neurotransmitters help send messages from one neuron to the next.
This substance can also prevent the buildup of Advanced Glycation Endproducts or AGE. AGE is created when sugar molecules get attach to protein and they can cause all sorts of damage like changing the way cells behave which may damage tissue and even cause cancer.
All of these reasons may contribute to how L-carnisine helps autism. In one study health scientists took over 30 patients with autism and split them into two groups. One group received 400 mg of this nutrient twice a day for 2 months and the second group received a placebo medicine that didn’t have any nutrients in it. The conclusion of the study was that the patients who took L-carnisine showed lower symptoms of this disease including better communication, language and mental ability.
The only way I know of to get more L-carnisone would be to take it in a supplement form. Since shopping for supplements can be a big pain in the neck because of the confusion, I would recommend getting educated about this industry first.
Without a good education how do you really know that what your buying is helpful or even safe? Now you might be thinking that this education is going to be a big pain and it’s going to cost a whole bunch of money, but that is not true.
